NEW ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF JEREMIAH'S HOPE
Ecclesiastes tells us that there is a season for everything...even seasons of change. Change is something that concern many, especially when ministries go through changes. However, we at Jeremiah's Hope feel that the changes currently taking place will make our ministry stronger and more prepared to meet the challenge which God has set before us. In November of 2005, Jeremiah's Hope was registered as a corporation in the the United States, then in mid December, we received word from the Internal Revenue Service that our application to become a 501(c)3 non-profit organization had been accepted and we were granted that status. On December 17th, the new Board of Directors for Jeremiah's Hope met in Irving, Texas for their first official board meeting. Members of the Board include: Joanne K. Weeden (President), Mike Singleton (Treasurer), Lynn Kelly (Secretary), Jay Don Rogers and Brian Webb. In addition to the US organization, Jeremiah's Hope operates within Ukraine as a Christian charitable mission with the same name, but Ukrainian registration. There the organization has existed for 2 years and the board is constructed differently as per Ukrainian law. In Ukraine, the organization has a Board of Trustees (American board members fill these roles) and a Board of Directors (Andrew Kelly and 3 Ukrainians fill these roles). If you have questions or would like to contact the board, you may do so through sending an email to info@jeremiahshope.org
