For the past three weeks, God has provided for the 63 refugees from Slavyansk, Ukraine through many individuals and companies. Often, as our ministry raises funds, we are asked by donors in America if Ukrainians ever donate and help their own people. Yes, yes they do! In fact, the majority of support for the 63 women and children who are seeking refuge on our property is being provided by UKRAINIANS! This is encouraging and we are grateful to be able to tell the story of how God brought our camp into existence and how Jeremiah’s Hope is here to serve the children of Ukraine!
We want to thank the following churches in Ukraine for sending volunteers to cook, clean, do children’s programs and pray over the refugees: New Life Baptist Church – Kiev Irpin Baptist Church – Irpin Hope Church – Ivankiv Almaz Church – Kiev International Christian Assembly – Kiev We also want to thank the following companies (and their employees) in Ukraine for donating food, clothing and even appliances so that we can serve the refugees better: Nestle – cash donation, Nesquik, chocolates and cookies Fox Trot – fridge, washing machine and microwave Kraft Foods Ukraine – coffee Okhmatdet Hospital – medicines and first aid kids Henkel – fresh produce DB Shenker – fresh produce Danone – yoghurt and flavored milk Ivankiv City Businessmen – fridge We have also had donations of fresh milk, beef and turkey from local farms. Thank you also to the individuals and churches (Hillcrest, North Davis, Northside, Durham & Cottonwood) in the USA who have donated to help us provide for the refugees. We continue to need financial assistance and invite you to join the many who are making safety and refuge possible!
