UKRAINE CRISIS RESPONSE
On February 24th, our world changed. Russia escalated their already 8 year war against Ukraine and now we are witnessing the unfolding of the greatest humanitarian crisis to affect Europe since World War II. While the entire nation of Ukraine is impacted by this egregious war, it is women and children, especially the orphans, who suffer the most. When Russia first invaded Ukraine in 2014, we witnessed a similar impact on those who fled from the Luhansk and Donetsk regions of Ukraine. During those early days of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, we housed more than 300 refugees and since 2014, we have shipped 33 containers of humanitarian aid to help meet the needs of the people of Ukraine.
As we evaluate our role in responding to this crisis, we know that God has uniquely positioned us to provide support and logistics to members of the Church of Christ and other trusted ministries in Ukraine.
Please note: 100% of all donations to the Ukraine Relief Fund go directly to relief efforts. No funds donated for relief purposes are used to cover any administrative or operational expenses. Those expenses are covered by other funding sources within the ministry.

EVACUATION & RESETTLEMENTEvacuationJeremiah's Hope has been providing funds to both individuals who are fleeing Ukraine and also to churches who are offering van services to transport people from war torn areas to western Ukraine or the border.
ResettlementWe have formed a partnership with the Zagreb Church of Christ (Croatia) to house refugees on a temporary basis in their church facilities. We also plan to rent apartments and make them available to refugee families for a period of 3 months while they resettle and begin a new life.
We are also working to provide apartments for some Christians (former orphans with ties to Jeremiah's Hope) who have evacuated to the Sopot, Poland area. |
